Wallsend Jubilee Primary School is part of the North Tyneside Learning Trust.

Due to pupil numbers and staff changes, the Governors of this happy, 2 form entry primary school invite applications for 2 new Midday Supervisors to join our current team. The successful candidates will be adaptable and understanding, and will enjoy interacting and playing games with children aged between 4 and 11 years.

Duties will include supervision of the children in the hall, yards and school premises to ensure maintenance of good behaviour and discipline and will also include ancillary duties (for example cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean etc).

You will work as part of a team comprised of other Lunchtime and Senior Supervisors and will be ultimately responsible to the Headteacher. You will be involved in a rota which will include a duty in the lunchtime dining hall and working within different year groups throughout the school.

A very important part of the role is being aware of the health and safety rulings within the school environment and making sure that the pupils in your care are safe, secure and cared for at all times.

This post is fixed term up to the 31/08/2019 in the first instance. It is term time only over 190 days, 6.25 hours per week (1 hour and 15 minutes per day).

All individuals appointed to this post will be appointed onto an hourly rate which includes the National Living Wage (£7.83 as at 1st April 2018) and paid a supplementary allowance to accommodate the North Tyneside Living Wage (of £8.75 per hour at 1st April 2018).
