Catering Services, Facilities and Fair Access are looking for an enthusiastic self motivated individual to join the team.
As a Commis Chef Apprentice you will work towards managing the day to day catering operation for students, school staff and visitors ensuring that a high standard of catering is provided within agreed financial targets.
A range of skills will be developed which include daily food preparation, production and service, ordering and general administration, food safety and health and safety in the kitchen environment. Dealing with customers and working in accordance with set policies and procedures.
As this is an apprenticeship no previous experience is required, so whether you have recently left school or college or are looking for an alterative to further education this would provide you with a first step on the career ladder within local government.
This post is fixed-term for 18 months.
