Hadrian Leisure Centre is located in Wallsend on the site of Burnside Business and Enterprise College. The facility benefits from a 25 metre swimming and learner pool, fitness suite, outdoor pitches, a 6 court multifunctional sports hall including a 10 meter climbing wall.

The centre is looking to recruit competent freelance climbing wall instructors with an appropriate qualification ie CWA. Experience in lead climbing would be an advantage, knowledge of the NICAS award scheme and delivering one to one or group training on the climbing wall to adult and juniors. You must be a member of the Mountain Leader Training Board for first aid certification and provide a public liability insurance certificate.

Hours of work would depend on the facilities activity programme and your own availability. This could include evening and weekend working.

The interview will consist of a practical demonstration of your skills.
