We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a great deal of passion and high standards to support the unit manager at Longbenton High School.

You will need to have great cooking skills, be self motivated and will be expected to lead by example by providing excellent levels of customer service, mentoring, motivating and training to both small and large catering teams.

Previous management experience at a similar level is essential; ideally this will have been gained in a school or college. You must have first class people skills, a proven track record in managing financial performance whilst ensuring that a high standard of kitchen hygiene is maintained and above all you must be able to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and positive.

You will be required to work 25 hours per week, term time only over 190 days.
