Due to some changes in the management team within Prevention and Early Help. We now have a fantastic temporary opportunity for an ambitious and outcome focused, hard working person to join a forward thinking and innovative team, delivering prevention and early help services to children, young people and their families across the borough

As Locality Manager, you will be responsible for services within a Locality Team, managing staff and delivering outcomes to families. Working with partners to develop services, especially around integrated, multi-agency teams, broad ranging family support and a whole range of other activities delivering integrated services to children, young people and families.

You will need to have knowledge, skills and experience in the delivery of whole family working, supervising staff, performance management as well as in working with partners. An understanding of evidence based approaches to work with vulnerable families and the range of issues affecting them e.g.: domestic violence; crime; worklessness. We are looking for someone who is hard working, tenacious, supportive and dynamic – this is a great chance for someone keen to have an impact on the support we offer to families.

The post is fixed term for 12 months and will involve working evenings and weekends.
