DEPUTY CATERING MANAGER
Grade K (19-22) £13,643 - £15,036 actual pro rata salary 30 Hours per week (TTO + 1 working week) An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Catering Manager to start in July 2018. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced person who is looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will work closely with the Catering Manager and will be responsible for stock control, ordering and overseeing the preparation of our quality food service, catering for over 1200 students each day. Passionate about food and nutrition? You will support our vision of using fresh and local produce to provide healthy meals. Applicants must possess GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent), basic IT skills, a Level 3 Supervising Food Safety certificate or willingness to be trained to Level 3. In addition, a minimum of one year’s experience supervising a catering team and knowledge of all aspects of food safety, hygiene and allergen law are required. Applicants must complete an application form in full and include a letter of application. In your letter you should outline how your experience to date has prepared you for this post, particularly in relation to kitchen routines, procedures and health and safety.
