The Governing Body seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and dedicated person to share our vision and help build the future of Whitburn Village Primary School. This person will support the current leadership to ensure the school makes rapid progress in all key areas of school improvement.

Our new Deputy Head Teacher will:

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner who inspires children to want to learn;
• Challenge motivate and inspire others;
• Play a significant part in whole school improvement working with a team of talented, enthusiastic teaching and non-teaching staff;
• Be passionate and committed to developing the potential of every child;
• Have experience of leadership, management and strategic thinking in school development.
