DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

The governors are seeking to appoint an inspiring and highly motivated practising Catholic to play an integral part in the development of our school. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Teacher and Governors to share the leadership of our popular, happy and welcoming school.

The Governing body and the Diocese are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons. The Deputy Head Teacher should support the Head Teacher in ensuring that the highest priority is given to following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced check for Regulated Activity from the Disclosure and Barring Service as well as other additional safeguarding checks.

Please note that the Childcare Disqualifications Regulations 2009 apply to this position and therefore you are required to complete the “disqualification by association” declaration form. Should you be successful in your application for this post, your appointment can not be progressed without this declaration.
