Hareside Primary School is a large, well-regarded and caring school in Cramlington, Northumberland. We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, experienced school leader following the retirement of our long-standing
deputy head.

You would be joining and leading a team of highly supportive professionals in this forward-thinking school where high standards of achievement in academic, sporting and creative success are central to our core purpose. You will be an integral part of the Leadership Team as we begin our new journey together and have ideas to develop our curriculum, support and outdoor programmes.

The Headteacher and Governing body are looking to appoint an outstanding leader to join our team who will make a positive contribution to the future education and learning of our fantastic children.

The post is open to any experienced primary professional. The post is initially non-class based, though we expect the successful candidate to take a lead in modelling effective teaching and assessment when required.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate and be successful against a range of other recruitment checks.
