An opportunity has arisen for an aspiring deputy manager. Working with children and adults with a range of disabilities and complex needs to join our short break service in Newcastle. You will be required to support and work with the Manager and senior team at an operational and strategic level.
The successful applicant will demonstrate ability to deliver high standards of care, in all aspects of regulatory requirements, manage, motivate, develop and supervise staff. Possess strong and effective leadership skills. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess a Diploma level 3 Health and Social Care, Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification.
Experience of direct work with children and young people is essential.
You will have a flexible approach to hours of work over a 7 day rota basis, including sleep in duties/waking nights to meet the needs of the service.
