A post has arisen within Architectural & Construction Services for the role of a Building Services Mechanical Designer.
The suitable candidate must have extensive mechanical design experience within the heating, ventilation and plumbing industry. You will be expected to lead or to work as part of a delivery team in the provision of a complete mechanical design and engineering service, which will include implement industry standards, regulations and policies within building services discipline.
The successful candidate will be expected to monitor the progress of individual projects, expenditure and all allocated tasks associated as well as dealing with other services, agencies and the general public.
You would also be expected to undertake building services condition surveys and / or establish property and component conditions and recommend remedial action as required.
Knowledge and experience:
Knowledge of all relevant Codes of Practice and Regulations regarding Building Services design and installation
Contract Administration and project management
Knowledge and experience of CAD and computer software.
Qualifications:
Must be Qualified to HNC/D level Building Services Mechanical Design, and a Degree in Building Services Mechanical Engineering Design and full membership of CIBSE would be desirable.
Successful candidate must have broad experience of Building Services Mechanical Engineering Design, Installation and Inspection
