Salary up to £130k
One of the first organisations of its type in the country, Together for Children is an arm’s length company delivering children’s services for the city of Sunderland, including children’s social care, education, fostering and adoption. The Chief Executive also holds the statutory role of Director of Children’s Services for the City Council.
We are looking for a transformational leader who can continue our improvement journey with pace and drive, helping to focus the organisation on the delivery of high quality services and better outcomes for our children and young people.
This will require strong strategic skills, an innovative approach and the ability to manage a range of stakeholders across the City who, in turn, will provide the backing and support you need to make this a successful independent company. You will have the freedom to do things differently to achieve better outcomes – and you will relish the opportunity this role provides.
We are open as to your background, but you will give us confidence that you have the range of senior management skills, the passion to make a difference and an understanding of the children’s services landscape to hit the ground running.
