Children's Services within Sunderland City Council is moving into a new company. The new company will be known as Together for Children.

In order to enable the setting up of this organisation the Chief Executive of Together for Children is seeking to appoint an ambitious manager to join the new senior management team leading the improvement journey. This is a permanent post, initially within the council, and then moving into the new organisation.

Director of Early Help
Salary - up to £100,000

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of strong, integrated and responsive early intervention and prevention services, to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people and their families.

We are seeking an individual who can help us shape the future with vision and enthusiasm to build upon the good start that we have made in improving services.

If you have strong leadership skills, a successful proven track record in improving services, and are passionate about creating a better future for children and young people, with the necessary drive and determination to ensure the best possible outcomes are realised for children in Sunderland, we would like to hear from you.

This is a challenging but exciting transformation journey. The successful candidate will have the freedom and opportunity to bring their ideas and experience to deliver the improvement required.
