Temporary (maternity cover), Full Time
Hareside Primary School is a fantastic school situated in Cramlington Northumberland just north of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. We have recently been judged "Good" with an “Outstanding” Early Years provision by Ofsted.
We are a mainstream school catering for 422 pupils from Nursery to Year 6.
We are currently seeking to appoint a passionate, motivated and conscientious teacher to work in one of our Reception Classes to cover maternity leave.
Going the extra mile to maximise your pupils’ attainment, you will plan and deliver stimulating, memorable lessons, offering a broad and balanced curriculum. You will set high standards in conduct and academic work, and actively
support the social, emotional and cultural aspects of learning.
We welcome both newly/recently qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about transforming outcomes for pupils. Naturally, you should be familiar with the statutory national curriculum, well versed in monitoring pupils’ progress, and adept at organising classrooms and learning strategies.
If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you. Visits to our school are encouraged; please contact the school to arrange an appointment.
Opportunities to look round the school are:
*Tuesday 22nd October at 1.30pm and 4pm
We offer:
*An excellent opportunity to develop professionally
*Well behaved and motivated children
*A school passionate about doing the very best we can for our children.
*A friendly and supportive work environment
*The opportunity to make a difference
Hareside Primary school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for the successful candidate. The post is subject to satisfactory references, health check, and DBS clearance.
The closing date is Monday 4th November 2019.
Interviews will take place on Tuesday 12th November 2019.
