North Park Primary School is a successful and friendly school. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed, enthusiastic and energetic professional to join our school as the EYFS Manager, with responsibility for teaching in Reception and managing the EYFS unit, which includes a Reception class and a 26 place Nursery.

The successful candidate will:
• Be an experienced, enthusiastic and driven Early Years Practitioner, with an excellent knowledge of Early Years Practice in order to drive forward improvement and change
• Be an inspiring teacher with the energy and enthusiasm to lead the EYFS team
• Have high standards and expectations in all areas of teaching, learning, assessment and planning
• Have excellent behaviour and pastoral management skills to nurture and value all children
• Be willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
• Liaise closely with whole staff team
• Be able to manage data, monitor standards and drive forward developments
• Work with parents to provide the very best support for families
• Be flexible and have a good sense of humour

Starting date: The post is to commence on 1st January 2017 and is not open to job share.
Visits: Visits are encouraged and have been arranged for Tuesday 18th October at 9am and 3.30pm. Due to the short notice, candidates are welcome to contact school for an alternative appointment if these times are inconvenient. Please ring to make an appointment.
Closing date: Friday 21st October at 12 noon.
Shortlisting: Shortlisting will take place on Friday 21st October in the afternoon and candidates will be contacted afterwards.
