Position(s): 2 vacancies - EYFS Nursery Nurse/Teaching Assistant
Salary: Grade 2, Points 15-17, (£17,972 - £18,672). Pro rata – term time only.
Contract Type: Fixed Term for 1 year.
Working Pattern: Part Time, 20 hours per week (8.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. Monday – Friday)
Required: September 2018.

We are seeking two talented and dedicated nursery nurses/teaching assistants to join our EYFS team, to help us launch our provision for 2 year olds. This is a brand new venture for Grangetown, using DfE funding earmarked specifically for 2 year olds.

One post will be based in our new 2 year old provision. The other post will be based in our current 3-4 year old Nursery provision, though all practitioners will work closely together.

The successful candidates will:
• Have experience in working within an Nursery setting and have the full and relevant qualification for Early Years
• Be enthusiastic about working with young children, and able to relate well to staff, parents and children
• Be a dedicated and hardworking practitioner
• Have a good understanding of child development and of how young children learn.
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Have an ability to work successfully as part of a team.
