Embleton Vincent Edwards CofE Primary School has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, teaching children from 3 to 11 years old. Our school lies in the heart of Embleton, a picturesque Northumbrian village just minutes from the pristine sands of Embleton Bay.
If you think you would like to join our committed, happy team, the Governors are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant providing 1:1 SEN support to a named child. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting young children in their learning; who is keen to support learning outdoors; and who is happy to work as part of a small, vibrant team. There may be scope for additional hours supporting the school's wraparound care beyond the school day.

As a school we spend one day a week on the beach at Embleton Bay. During the day we walk 3+ miles and are out in all weather conditions. Prospective candidates need to understand that this is a non-negotiable part of the school week.
