This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding and experienced Early Years practitioner to lead the Foundation Stage from January 2019 or sooner if possible. St. Augustine’s RC Primary School is a high performing school which lies at the heart of St. Mary’s RC Cathedral Parish. The successful candidate will:

• Be an excellent, creative and experienced early years practitioner;
• Have excellent leadership skills to ensure high quality teaching and learning;
• Be responsible for the performance management of staff within EYFS.
• Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour;
• Be fully committed to upholding and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school in all aspects;
• Be an excellent communicator, with good organisational and interpersonal skills;
• Be determined to enable children to fulfil their potential.
• Set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment.
• Be able to effectively lead a curriculum area.
