The North East LEP leads on the development and delivery of the North East Strategic Economic Plan, aiming to drive more and better jobs across the region through innovation, business growth, skills and infrastructure delivery in our key areas of economic opportunity.
In this exciting new role within the Strategy, Policy and Analysis team you will provide analytical support to help shape key regional economic documents such as the North East Strategic Economic Plan and the North East Local Industrial Strategy, and our key programmes and projects. You will work to assess the effectiveness and impact of our work and build the economic evidence base for the region.
The successful candidate will have experience of designing and undertaking high quality data analysis and research to help inform decision making and action. He or she will be able to communicate findings and insights effectively to a wide range of audiences and being able to work collaboratively with others. The appointed individual must have excellent organisational and time management skills as they will be required to manage a workload of several projects at a time.
This role is offered initially for a period of 2 years with extension subject to resources.
