Required January 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter

We are a highly regarded school within the local area with many outstanding features as described in our last Ofsted inspection. As we prepare for the opening of our new build in January 2019, we are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner to join us as a Teacher of English, as part of our dedicated and forward looking English department. The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, consistently delivering high quality teaching and learning.

The appointed person must have a good English qualification, be able to clearly communicate their passion for English and literacy, and engage successfully with our learners. They must also be committed to achievement, and work with resilience to ensure learners’ progress towards targets is met or exceeded.

The post holder will be required to teach across the full age and ability range, and therefore candidates must have good knowledge and understanding of KS3 and KS4 English.

Applications are welcomed from both NQTs and experienced teachers. Kepier is a dynamic Academy, firmly committed to staff development and has a highly regarded and supportive induction programme for NQTs.

Application form, job description and person specification are available on-line at www.kepier.com. Applications should be returned to Christine Stobbart, HR Officer at stobbartc@kepier.com by no later than 12 noon on 19th November 2018. Interviews are scheduled to take place on
26th November 2018. Please note that applications can only be accepted on the Kepier application form; applications by CV will not be accepted.

Kepier is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced DBS Certificate is required for this position. Please note that in all cases written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage.

Applicants who have not been contacted within 2 weeks of the closing date should assume they have been unsuccessful.
