We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Environmental Health Officer to work within our Commercial (Food) team. You will be an experienced officer with EHRB registration and competency to inspect all categories of food business for food safety, food standards and health and safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required with proven ability to deliver services. Ideally you will have significant experience of dealing with food safety and health and safety issues. You should be competent in using IT systems to record and implement actions and manage your own caseload.
The minimum educational requirement for this post is a Degree in Environmental Health/Diploma in Environmental Health (or equivalent) with EHRB registration, and able to demonstrate continuing professional development.
A full, current driving licence is desirable as is a willingness to work out of hours.
