Durham County Council is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Estimator to work within busy, high performing Highways Assets and Highways Services Teams.

The Council’s Highways Asset Team is responsible for the improvement and maintenance of the highway network and associated assets together with the implementation of functions required under the Highways Act.

The Highways Services Team have responsibility for design, estimating, business development, project, contract and financial management, procurement and construction management of civil engineering projects.

Post holders will be responsible for providing support and guidance in delivering high quality Highways Assets and Highways Services functions.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants should hold an HNC or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
