An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic, hardworking and self-motivated individual to join the Council’s successful Event Team and be part of the journey to deliver extraordinary and unexpected event experiences for residents, businesses and visitors to the Borough.
The post holder will support the technical planning and operational delivery of the Council’s annual events programme which includes Stockton International Riverside Festival, Stockton Sparkles, Cycling Festival and Fireworks Display.
Duties will include technical production, assurance, assisting with event plans and preparation of risk assessments. The post holder will also provide advice, guidance and support to external event organisers relating to event management processes, including health and safety arrangements.

We are looking for an individual who has a strong working knowledge of working in the events field, with specific experience of event planning, crowd management, risk and traffic management issues.
