We are seeking to recruit experienced Child and Family Social Work Practitioners to our Referral and Assessment team. Job profiles are aligned to the Knowledge and Skills Statement for social workers and the salary offer reflects the calibre of applicant we are looking to attract. You will join a group of highly effective and motivated staff who are committed to continuous improvement following our 'good' Ofsted judgement.



We are looking for additional practitioners who firmly believe in the power of strength based relational Social Work and have the ability to address behaviours linked to childhood trauma and compromised child/parental relationships and capacity.

Successful applicants will have significant experience of practicing statutory child care Social Work in a multi-disciplinary way. They will have demonstrable skills in assessment, planning and delivering interventions with complex and challenging families coupled with the ability to analyse and evaluate complex situations and risk. Their knowledge base will demonstrate a sound understanding of Social Work legislation and statutory guidance, assessment and Social Work methodologies. Successful applicants will be empathic, enabling and resilient with a 'can do', solution focussed approach. They will be comfortable in reaching sound evidence based decisions and able to exercise professional authority appropriately. They will be team players with a proven ability to work constructively with team members and other professional groups.

It is essential that you have a current driving licence and access to a car, or means to mobility support. You must also be IT literate.
