The Facilities Assistant role is based within the Asset Management department and will provide administrative support to the Facilities team, assisting in the management of non-housing buildings and communal spaces, ensuring they are inspected, repaired and maintained to an acceptable standard.

This role requires you to be an effective team a worker with excellent communication skills both orally and written.
A key part of this role will involve prioritising key tasks therefore we need you to be highly organised and have a curious, problem solving approach to tasks given.
Dealing with failures and repairs in our commercial buildings.
Been a central point of contact for the Facilities Team.
Manage the Facilities Mailbox and disseminate any actions as required.
Proactively chasing teams to complete any Fire Risk Actions to communal areas, community centres, offices and depots.
You will need to have a good standard of education (NVQ level 2/GCSE’s or equivalent) and have relevant exempting admin experience including the use of creating and using spread sheets in Microsoft Excel.

This role is a job share role on 2 days per week, we can have an informal discussion about hours/days if required. This role is also a fixed term position until 31 December 2019.
