An opportunity exists for a suitable individual to work as a Facility Supervisor at Rye Hill Day Nursery, Colby Court, Elswick.

Typical duties within this post will encompass responsibility for the security of the premises, the setting of alarms, the operation of heating and lighting plant as well as a range of general and porterage duties. There will be a responsibility for the management of a small scale budget and the cleaning of defined areas throughout the nursery.

DIY and caretaking would be an advantage. You should be reliable and have a strong commitment to high standards of service and customer care. It is essential that you are capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting and carrying of equipment, materials and furniture.

You must be positive, hardworking and able to forge positive relationships with both internal and external customers as well as service users and colleagues.
