We are seeking to recruit a Family Liaison Officer to work in our school and service for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties.

We work in close partnerships with our parents, carers and supporting services and are looking for someone to lead the way in further embedding our outstanding practices.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, able to work independently as well as part of a team, have excellent communication, written and IT skills and knowledge of systems which benefit families. They will be proactive in supporting parents/carers and pupils with the aim of ensuring that all children gain maximum benefit from their education through support around barriers to leaning, engagement with the school, and good attendance.

You will have experience of any of the following – social work, teaching, health or similar disciplines working with families and young people; to provide a support and information service, in order to promote the safety, learning skills, self-esteem and emotional and well-being of all pupils at Priory Woods School.
