Required to cover a maternity leave, which is due to start in September (exact date to be confirmed) and is likely to be for 9 months (could be offered as a secondment opportunity subject to employer’s agreement).

Grange Primary School has been on a transformational journey of improvement over the last few years, and we remain committed to continuing to improve to ensure all of our children receive and enjoy the best possible school experience and opportunities to enable them to fulfil their potential and realise their dreams and aspirations. We have the highest expectation of all of our staff and pupils, with a strong commitment to promoting their well-being.

We are an inclusive primary school, with 16 Additionally Resourced Places for children with physical and medical needs or Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
You will need both empathy and efficiency to help make a positive impact on the lives and achievements of our children and families.

We have recently increased our team of Family Support Officers from one to two; to add capacity and further enhance the great work we do in promoting achievement and self-confidence in all our children. We want to keep this additional capacity and are therefore looking for someone to cover during the maternity leave of one of our Family Support Officers. As well as supporting families within our school community, working with a variety of agencies, the successful applicant will engage in the personal development of our vulnerable children and take a lead role in safeguarding, working alongside our newly appointed Family Support Officer.

We can offer a warm, harmonious atmosphere, a well-resourced environment, a dedicated staff team and most importantly kind, polite and considerate children.
Visits to the school can be organised by ringing our school office on (01429) 272007.

Application forms should be addressed to Mrs Leanne Yates, Headteacher. Grange Primary School is committed to safer recruitment practice and promoting the welfare of children and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance check.
