The Children with Disabilities Team is a specialist social work team working with disabled children, young people and their families. The work of the team covers the full range of statutory duties in the delivery of the service. It is committed to the personalisation agenda and the SEND reforms.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Family Support Worker with an established skill base and practice in children services with knowledge in the area of disability and partnership working.
You should be able to respond to families in crisis and intervene directly with families and to support children with disabilities with practical support and advice.
