The Family Time Officer role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with other services within Redcar & Cleveland’s Children & Families Service. It supports children and young people to maintain healthy relationships with family members when those family members are no longer able to care for them safely.

The service is based at The Beach House which offers a safe, welcoming and homely environment to families of children in our care who require support from children’s services.
The successful applicants will work within an experienced team of officers who support the ongoing assessment and planning for children in our care.

You will preferably have experience of working with children, young people and their families in an appropriate setting and have knowledge of child protection procedures. You will need to have a flexible approach to the needs of the service and the families it supports.  Full supervision and training is provided.
