The North Pennines AONB Partnership is looking for two new staff to work on the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme until 31 March 2024.

Created by Defra, and managed by AONB and National Park teams, Farming in Protected Landscapes will help farmers, land managers and others to deliver work on the farmed landscape under the themes of climate, nature, people and place.

You will provide advice and guidance to applicants/potential applicants and support a panel created to judge applications. You will need to have a HND or an equivalent qualification together with considerable experience of working with farmers and land managers, a good knowledge of conservation/land management and access issues and familiarity with current agri-environment schemes.

Interviews are scheduled to take place in June on a date to be confirmed.
