The College is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Festival Coordinator to assist with the management of the newly formed Science and Engineering Festival that will take place in Middlesbrough in early 2015. Working within the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the organising, delivery, budgeting and evaluation of the programme of events.
The post holder will ideally have proven experience in coordinating events, liaising with a wide range of partners and clients, and a knowledge of the local science and engineering industry. A knowledge of the science communication industry would be advantageous, as would experience in marketing. In addition, strong skills in organising, communication and report writing are essential.
