Kirkleatham Hall School are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Officer for busy school office, to provide assistance in managing and controlling the school's financial resources. Grade E+ (pts 26 - 28) 37 hours term time only plus 1 week.

Kirkleatham Hall School is a very successful, all age special school situated within the delightful and historical village of Kirkleatham in Redcar.

Excellent relationships and consistent behaviour management across the school result in pupils’ outstanding behaviour” (Ofsted 2013).

Following the current post holder securing a promoted post, we are looking to recruit to the role of Finance Officer. Working under the guidance of the schools senior leadership team, the post holder will be responsible for assisting with managing and controlling the school’s financial resources, and with planning and monitoring of these in a manner which satisfies the requirements of financial control and accountability.

The successful candidate will be confident in communicating with all stakeholders including other professionals both verbally, and in writing. You may need to represent the school at external meetings, as well as liaising with suppliers and contractors.

We require an outstanding, enthusiastic person who can demonstrate a commitment to maintaining, and developing our financial systems even further, as well as providing detailed financial information for strategic planning and decision making, by senior leaders and the governing body.

We are seeking an individual who is adaptable and creative, with a positive “can do” approach and who is able to use initiative to problem solve. The successful candidate will be highly effective, with a strong drive and commitment to improve our school, and ultimately the outcomes for our children.
