Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums (TWAM) is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Finance and Accounting Manager to provide high-level technical expertise and knowledge to the organisation. This post will also be part of the TWAM leadership team, supporting the business planning and strategic direction of the organisation.
Candidates should have extensive experience of finance particularly closure of accounts and statutory financial reporting with a drive to find service and process improvements, with the skills and desire to maximise the use of technology.

The post holder will have office space in Blandford House, NE1 4JA which is the home of Discovery Museum and Tyne and Wear Archives but also provides a base for the majority of our central support teams. Remote working in line with business needs and our agile working policy is supported.
