Fire Support Services support the day-to-day operations of NFRS. They manage the assets of the fire service, supply equipment and lead on estate management. Other areas include data management, health and safety and finance. The team supply uniform and PPE equipment to the fire service and this role will assist with this.
YOU MUST HOLD A VALID DRIVING LICENCE
Provide general office services such as photocopying; prepare and present a range of documents and correspondence emails to an agreed format and standard; maintain general office equipment, consumable stocks and book service calls to ensure continuity of service; maintain information systems such as filing, client records, booking systems; deal with incoming and outgoing post in accordance with established procedures; enter data into spreadsheets, databases and other electronic information systems; deal with incoming and outgoing orders to and from stores, including pick up and delivery.
Three or more GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths and English; Must hold a current full driving licence
