A Full time position within Fleet Services has arisen to provide a full maintenance and repair service for the Councils Fleet of vehicles to Ministry of Transport standards.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Extensive experience is essential in either a franchised dealership or major fleet operation of a similar size to Middlesbrough Council’s fleet
• Responsible for MOT testing, servicing, maintenance and repairs of a diverse fleet of vehicles operated by the council and other agencies
• Hold a City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Craft qualification or recognised motor vehicle maintenance qualification
• Class IV, VII Nominated MOT Tester (work towards class V if and when required) (Training available to gain qualification)
