This is a new post based in the Council’s Audit, Risk and Insurance Service where we are developing a specialist fraud unit.
Candidates will have significant experience of fraud investigation and be committed to helping the Council and our partners promote an anti-fraud culture. You will be responsible for both the investigation of reported fraud and irregularities, and undertaking proactive work to identify fraud being committed.
If you are successful we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have any unspent criminal convictions.
The post reports to the Audit, Risk and Insurance, Service Manager.
