A Northumberland middle school, based in Berwick, is working with First Class Supply to source teachers who can be available for daily teaching opportunities as they are looking to develop a supply of regular, local teachers for replacement cover. Both primary teachers and secondary subject specialists are welcome to apply. You will need to be able to quickly establish good working relationships within the school.
This is a small but rapidly improving school whose effectiveness has increased due to the strength in leadership. Higher expectations and teaching standards have led to good progress and an enriched experience for all. Students enjoy school and have very positive attitudes to learning.
We require teachers who:
• have an exceptional work ethic and a proven record of exemplary classroom practice
• are pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
• are flexible to work at short notice as and when the need arises
• hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
• have recent experience / knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
