First Class Supply is working with a secondary school in Northumberland which is currently looking to recruit a Geography Teacher to cover Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. The position will be full time and will begin as soon as possible for the remainder of the academic year.

This co-educational secondary school caters to students aged from 13 to 18 years old, it is a smaller than average sized school with only 375 pupils. Within the school the students play a key role in making the school a harmonious and pleasant community to work in and be part of.

To be successful in this role you must:

have the skills to make a significant impact on raising the quality of teaching and learning
be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting so that all children make good or better progress
be able to inspire and motivate
be committed to raising achievement and standards
hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
have recent experience / knowledge of teaching Geography Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 within the UK National Curriculum.
