Laidlaw Schools Trust Central Team

We are recruiting to fill the position of Governors' Clerk within our central team.

The Laidlaw Schools Trust (LST) is a family of schools transforming young lives in the North East of England – and we are looking to recruit new team members to help us grow.

Our five academies in Newcastle and Sunderland educate more than 4,000 children in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the UK.

We care passionately about giving young people the chances in life they would not otherwise have.

LST is growing and we are looking to recruit talented staff for our new central team to help us support our academies.

The central team in Newcastle will carry out various functions across our trust – including finance and HR, data, estates and health and safety management and procurement.

The team will have strong links with each academy, providing professional support, based at our new office in St Nicholas Building, St Nicholas Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1TH.

To apply for this post, please complete the application form and submit a covering letter of no more than one side of A4 outlining your experience and how you will contribute to the development of the Laidlaw Schools Trust.

If you have any questions about the post then please contact Rachel Fenwick (LST HR Manager) on 0191 2288400.

Application forms should be returned via email to: abbie.wright@excelsiornewcastle.org.uk

Closing date: 12noon, Tuesday 11 July 2017.
Interview dates: Thursday 20 and Friday 21 July 2017.

Laidlaw Schools Trust (LST) is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; it expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
