The Role

CPI’s Performance and Impact team, are seeking to recruit a Business Analyst for maternity cover up until March 2019. The successful candidate will undertake the measurement and subsequent analysis, reporting and communication of information relating to the economic and societal impact of CPI. The post holder will ensure the relevance and integrity of data collected and develop effective data collection and management systems to accurately report data on a timely basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing data and utilising tools and software to interpret and present data. Although this placement is fixed term, CPI is an ever expanding organisation which will provide a perfect foundation for building effective working relationships internally and externally. As CPI grows as an organisation, the successful candidate will be able to seek out other opportunities as they arise within the business.

The Person

This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates to apply theory to a practical, fast paced, business environment. Candidates would be expected to have knowledge of developing, testing and applying economic models to analyse societal and economic impacts along with the capability to turn complex data into powerful messages and stories. Candidates will be educated to degree level with an Economics, Business, Mathematics or Analytical related degree.

In measuring Impact you will draw together qualitative and quantitative methods of the impact CPI has had on the companies it works with. This includes gathering data by interacting with Stakeholders (internal and external), performing desk based research, undertaking customer interviews and collaborating with employees in other areas of the business to promote and implement CPI’s Impact Framework.

This role will suit a person who enjoys dealing with people, has effective interpersonal skills and enjoys measuring, analysing and reporting data through a range of methods.
