This is an exciting time for Sunderland College as it expands to include Northumberland College and Hartlepool Sixth Form. This new Graphic & Digital Designer role will join an already existing design team who are implementing a new college brand and working on innovative creative projects to reach our wide customer base through a multi-channel and highly digital approach.

The Graphic & Digital Designer must be a team player who can demonstrate the ability to manage an extensive workload with the ability to turnaround high-quality and often complex design solutions in narrow timeframes.

You should be passionate and enthusiastic, with a proven track record of planning and delivering design for on and off line channels. You will understand the need to be ahead of trends relevant to the College’s markets and be innovative in the solutions you recommend or deliver to position the college ahead of its competitors.

You will be comfortable advising and supporting internal stakeholders.? Good planning and project management skills are essential, coupled with the ability to problem solve effectively. This is an exciting time to join the Group, and the role will be key in helping to shape and deliver our new brand.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate, in their personal statement, practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification. You will be asked to produce a portfolio of work as part of the interview process.

At this exciting time you will support on the implementation of a newly developed college and regional group identity.
