Opportunities have arisen for 2 X HOPE Officers as follows:-

1 Full Time temporary until 31st August 2019
1 Part Time permanent working 22 hours per week

The posts are to provide support to those clients in Emergency Temporary Accommodation provided by Durham County Council's Housing Solutions Service, as well as providing assistance and support in the move on process into suitable longer term accommodation, to those necessary.

Applicants should be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent together with experience in delivering support to those in housing need.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
