We are looking to appoint an HR Officer to join our Human Resources Team within Central Services on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be responsible for providing an effective, professional and timely operational HR service to Percy Hedley Foundation employees. As a key member of the HR team this role will contribute to the overall provision of an effective HR function with responsibility for managing and administrating the HR Database system, providing reports and management information, as well as general advice on a range of HR matters, ensuring legislation; policy and best practice are followed.

We are looking for an experienced HR Officer with a relevant level 5 qualification. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in managing and administrating HR Information Systems, using excel and crystal reporting, and also current knowledge of HR best practice. Experience of providing HR services in a relevant environment, such as education, care or charities sectors would be desirable.
