It is an exciting time at Boldon School, we are on a journey of improvement from requiring improvement to becoming an outstanding school. The schools outcomes over the last two years have been excellent and we have made significant improvements to leadership and management, the quality of teaching and behaviour across the school. We hope to have a good outcome at the next inspection due to take place before the 2019/20 academic year. Whilst the school faces some financial challenges, pupil numbers are increasing and we expect to have approximately 800 pupils on roll at September 2019.

The Governing Board is seeking a dynamic leader with the ability to innovate, focus and achieve. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the school on its improving (ement) journey and build upon the excellent work to date. We are looking for a leader to work with governors, lead and develop our committed staff, inspire our students to think bigger and promote partnership working to develop the school.

It is intended that interviews will be held on 19th and 20th March 2019, and that the successful candidate will take up his or her duties at the start of the Autumn Term, 2019.
