We seek to appoint an outstanding Head of Girls PE who will be the assistant subject leader for PE. The successful candidate needs to have has enthusiasm, energy and commitment to lead the department and contribute to the further development of the PE curriculum. The successful candidate will bring with them innovative and creative ideas to lead the subject of PE across key stage 3, 4 and 5 to stretch and inspire our students to ensure they reach their full potential.

Applications are invited from inspirational PE teachers who can demonstrate the ability to:
- Enable pupils to achieve the highest possible standards across the department
- Work motivationally leading a team of staff
- Raise attainment at KS3, 4 and 5, having a measurable impact at both an individual and departmental level
- Demonstrate that you can lead the monitoring and evaluation of quality teaching and standards.
- Develop innovation in teaching and learning, motivating and inspiring both colleagues and students through outstanding teaching.
- An ability to lead and/or teach BTEC PE level 2 and /or A-level PE is essential
- An ability to coach netball to a high standard is desirable but not essential
