Headteacher L19-L24

The Link School is recognised nationally as one of the leading schools in Alternative Provision. It is based across two sites and caters for learners at Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. The school supports the diverse needs of young people in Sunderland many of whom are extremely vulnerable and challenging. The school has recently been graded good by Ofsted at both of its sites. In order to build on the school’s strengths and continue the journey towards outstanding the Management Committee is seeking to appoint an inspirational Headteacher with proven leadership skills.

The role is to provide overall strategic and operational management of the school which caters for those young people who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school and those young people who display extreme challenging behaviour.

The successful candidate will have the ability and energy to lead and motivate others. They will have a proven track record of raising attainment and achievement of pupils with challenging behaviour.
