An exciting opportunity has arisen with Durham County Council to join the ‘in house’ Occupational Health Service, based in Durham, in making a positive contribution towards workplace health and wellbeing.

We are seeking a RGN/RN (Adult) nurse to assist with the development and delivery of a broad range of health assessments and screening to a range of employment groups across the region

This is a rewarding role and to do this effectively you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with a professional and enthusiastic approach to developing new skills.

Experience of working in Occupational Health is desirable but is not essential as training will be provided. Once in post and carrying out the role of the Health Screening Nurse, the Occupational Health Service would consider supporting the successful candidate in training to become a fully qualified Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner.
