The Health and Safety Team drive and support a positive culture to ensure that there is appropriate documentation in place to meet the legal requirements of the company and protect our employees, customers and others who may be affected by our actions. The Health and Safety Team take on an advisory role to monitor and advise on health and safety arrangements and fulfil the role of the competent person as required in the regulatory framework.
The Health and Safety Advisor will be based in the Scarborough office and will support the team in providing comprehensive advice, support and guidance to our Leadership team, employees and customers. This will include the monitoring and review of workplace activities and reports along with supporting continual improvement to ensure that Beyond Housing’s workplaces and properties remain safe and fit for purpose.
We are looking for a qualified Health and Safety professional who is passionate and enthusiastic about protecting people in their homes and at work. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be able to engage positively with employees and customers. The candidate will have good personable skills and the ability to influence and shape the approach to Health and Safety within the company.
We are looking for someone to support the Health and Safety Manager to provide a comprehensive professional service to support all users. We are looking for someone to assist with, and take responsibility for the development of health and safety policies, procedures and guidance.
