Higher Level Teaching Assistant required from 1st September 2018 to 31st August 2019.

A warm welcome to Dean Bank Primary School. We are a rapidly improving school full of happy, hardworking children and staff.

We are looking for a committed, talented and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support us in raising standards across the school through interventions and quality first teaching. NQT’s are also welcome to apply for this position.

Job Role:
• Plan and prepare lessons in accordance with the school’s published Curriculum Plan and the requirements of the National Curriculum;
• To work both independently and collaboratively with teaching staff in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Also to deliver learning to individuals, small groups and whole classes as and when required within agreed systems of supervision;
• To provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all, by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes;
• To encourage pupils to become independent learners, to provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.

Essential Qualifications:
HLTA qualification or equivalent
5 GCSE’s including Maths and English, grades A - C
